The PSAT is a standardized test taken in October of 11th grade. Some schools also offer it as a practice in October of 10th grade.

The College Board offers free sample test questions as well as 2 downloadable sample tests with answers online.
Kahn Academy offers free online practice for the PSAT. After taking a diagnostic quiz, the program will personalize the practice problems to the areas that you need to improve for the test. In addition, once you have taken the PSAT you can link your actual test results to your Kahn Academy account and the practice will be customized based on your latest test results.
The SAT is generally taken in the Spring of Junior Year (11th grade) and Summer before Senior Year (12th grade).

In addtion, ACT offers free downloadable test prep questions, a daily email with a test prep question, and free sample questions for each subject area.
ACT Academy offers free online test practice that is personalized to the student. If you have taken an ACT before you can enter your previous score for even more personalized practice on the areas you need to improve.
